Mission
SPKSB advances the study of biological kinetics as a dynamic field.
Biological systems are treated as processes that change with rates and timing, rather than as static inventories of parts.
Research and applications remain important. Theory and mathematics come first.
Dynamic and Kinetic Biology
Biological systems are examined through rates, timing and mechanism.
Kinetics sits at the centre of explanation, modelling and experimental design.
Theory and Mathematics
Formal reasoning guides which problems are modelled, tested or extended.
Applied work follows from that theoretical base, not the reverse.
Cross-Disciplinary Methods
Methods from neuroscience, physics and related fields are used where they improve analysis.
Borrowed methods are expected to be operational, measurable and reproducible. Longer-term programmes are expected to draw more directly on psychological studies and neuro-biophysics.
Research Output
Current output targets are approximately two papers or preprints each year, and one conference presentation.
Technical artefacts, protocols and code are treated as part of the public record of the work.
